Maharaja Prataparuda Seva
Maharaja Prataparuda was a great devotee of Lord Jagannatha and specially favoured by Lord Caitanya because he served Lord Jagannatha with his heart and soul. Generally, Lord Caitanya would not meet a king or any royal person, since for a sanyasi meeting a person of royal order is equal to taking poison. Still Lord Caitanya gave special mercy to the king just by seeing his intense devotion to Lord Jagannatha.

Annadana Seva
Various incarnations of Lord show mercy to us in various ways. Lord Jagannatha distributed his mercy in the form of prasadam. When mother Parvati received the maha prasadam of Lord from her divine husband, she desired that all her children, people of this world should also get this mercy. Lord agreed to her proposal and appeared in this world as Lord Jagannatha. Thus the Lord distributes unlimited prasadam to one and all.

Chappan Bhoga Seva
Chappan Bhoga is a nitya (daily) seva that is offered to Lord Jagannatha at Sri Mandir of Jagannatha Puri. The food offered to Lord is called Bhoga and that is distributed as maha prasadam to one and all. It is our earnest duty to offer nice bhoga to Lord Jagannatha. “yasmin tuṣṭe jagat tuṣṭam”, when the Lord is pleased with such nice offerings, the whole world will be satisfied.

Jagannatha Ratha Seva
This is a unique and exclusive seva. A seva done by Lord’s intimate servants. The Lord though staying in Sri Mandir, which is non-different from Dwaraka longs to go to Gundica, which is non-different from Vrindavan. Originally when the gopis met Lord Krishna during the ecplise at Kuruksetra, they wanted to take Krishna with them. They seated Lord Krishna on a fine chariot and pulled Him towards Vrindavan. This ratha yatra ceremony is that very intimate and confidential service very dear Lord Jagannatha.
